Article settings
Choose how generated articles are shaped for the current project—article type mode and default author—as configured under Articles configuration in the app.
Article settings (labeled Article Configuration in the app sidebar) are stored per project. Open Articles configuration under the articles section of the sidebar; you need an active project selected—otherwise the page prompts you to pick one.
These options affect new generation: they define the default pattern and byline for content created from the planner and related flows.
Article type
Pick one article type mode for the project. The selection saves immediately; a confirmation toast appears when the update succeeds.

| "X vs Y" Comparison Articles | Head-to-head comparisons between two tools or brands. |
| Best Tools/Services Listicles | Roundups such as “top” or “best of” lists—strong for review-style content. |
| How-To Tutorials & Guides | Step-by-step instructional content. |
| Alternatives to [Tool] Pages | “Alternatives to …” style pages that position you against known tools. |
| Case Studies & Results | Proof-led content with outcomes and metrics. |
Changing type does not rewrite existing drafts; it applies to future generated articles.
Default article author
Default article author is an optional display name (for example a person or editorial brand). It is shown as the author on generated articles and passed to integrations that support an author field.
Use Save to persist changes, or Reset to reload the last saved value from the server. Clearing the field and saving removes the default author until you set one again.
