Quickstart

This quickstart gets you from zero to a published article, then shows how to make a small follow-up edit using the web editor.

Before you start

• You’ll need: access to the Grenseo web app and a website/project you want to publish for.
• If you don’t have publishing connected yet: you can still complete this guide by copying the final content into your CMS manually (takes 30 seconds).

1) Create (or pick) a project

In Grenseo, a project represents one website/brand context.

• Open Grenseo and select an existing project, or create a new one for the site you want to publish to.
• If you’re creating a new project, enter the URL of the website and Grenseo will automatically extract the context for you.

2) Quick check: confirm the auto-extracted context looks right

Grenseo extracts your project context automatically. Before generating, do a quick sanity check so your first draft lands in the right direction:

• The website/domain matches the project you intended
• The brand / business description feels roughly accurate

If anything looks off, you can adjust it later in Project settings and Article settings.

3) Generate ideas, then “like” one into your calendar

Grenseo can generate topic ideas for your project. When you like an idea, it’s added to your content calendar (and can be scheduled automatically, depending on your plan and cadence).

• In the dashboard, click on the Generate ideas button.
• Click Like on one idea you want to publish soon.

You should now see that idea appear in the calendar.

Tip: keep your first idea narrow (one clear “how to” or “best practices” question) so you can review and refine quickly.

4) Select the calendar item and generate the article

Your first article is created from a calendar item (the idea you liked).

• Click the idea you liked in the calendar.
• Click Generate article.
• When generation finishes, review the article by clicking on the article in the calendar or View article once the generation is finished.

In the editor, do a fast quality pass:

• Title + intro: does it match the promise of the topic?
• Headings: do they form a sensible outline?
• Accuracy: remove anything that doesn’t match your product/service.

5) Make your first content change with the web editor

Before publishing, if you want to, make one small, safe edit to prove your loop works end-to-end:

• Open the article in Grenseo’s web editor.
• Make a tiny change, like:
  • fix a typo
  • improve the first sentence
• Click Save.

6) Publish your first article

Pick the approach that matches your setup:

• Manual publish (works for everyone): copy the final article from the editor and paste it into your CMS (WordPress, Shopify, Wix, etc.), then publish.
• Coming soon: Connected publish (if available in your workspace): use your configured publishing flow/integration to send the article as a draft or publish it.

After publishing, open the live URL once to confirm:

• The slug is correct
• Headings and formatting look right
• Metadata (like excerpt/description) is good for a first pass
